Corn Rows
Cornrow is an afro hairstyle that is plaited onto the scalp of the head. It is section into more than one layers while Ghana cornrow is also plaited onto the scalp, but each strip of the extension is added to the plait which gives the cornrow steps over each section.
Braids
Hair is sectioned into small piece. It can be arch or box sectioning. Section hair into appropriate size and add the hair extension (x- expression) to the section part of the hair and start plaiting from the attached hair to the end of the extension. Continue with the rest of the hair until all section are completed. Dip the braided hair into hot water – the hot water seals the x-expression from losing. Apply hair mousse and hair sheen spray and style.
Women only
Relaxer
This is the method to straighten your natural hair. Section the hair into four part and gentle detangle the hair. Apply Vaseline, coconut oil, baby powder to or any protective gel to the front line of the head and on the scalp – this prevents the scalp from itching or burning. Apply the relaxer cream on to the hair – this will straighten the cuticle. Work through the hair with back of the comb do not comb out the hair, this will damage the cuticle of the hair. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes. Shampoo hair until water is clear not pink, deep condition the hair by going into the hood steamer 10 to 15 minutes – it helps to restore back pH balance after chemically processing. Resin hair and apply any HCO leave-in-conditioner, which help the hair from heat and moisturize the hair. Blow-dry the hair and trim any dead end of the hair and style.
Weave On
To achieve a beautiful, long hair extension. Hair needs to be shampood and towel dried, cornrow the natural hair with an x-expression or a wool. Stitch the hair extension onto the cornrow until the extension has gone around the head. These types of hairstyles can be full or half head.
Twisting
Hair is sectioned into a small piece. It can be arch or box sectioning. Section hair into appropriate size and add the hair extension by twisting the extension into the natural hair up to the end of the extension. Continue with the rest of the hair until all section are completed. Dip the braided hair into hot water – the hot water seals the x-expression from losing. Apply hair mousse and hair sheen spray and style.
Children (7-15)
Child Cornrow
Children Cornrow: an afro hairstyle that is plaited onto the scalp of the head. It is section into more than one layers, and each stipes of the extension is added to the cornrow when weaving and it gives the cornrow thickness and last longer.
Single plait/braid
Children single plait/Braids: Hair is sectioned into a small piece. It can be arch or box sectioning. Section hair into appropriate size and add the hair extension (x- expression) to the section part of the hair and start plaiting from the attached hair to the end of the extension. Continue with the rest of the hair until all section are completed. Dip the braided hair into hot water – the hot water seals the x-expression from losing. Apply hair mousse and hair sheen spray and style to the child's choice.
Relaxer
Relaxer: These is the method the straighten your natural hair. Section the hair into four part and gentle detangle the hair. Resin hair and apply any HCO leave-in-conditioner, which help the hair from heat and moisturizer the hair. Blow-dry the hair and trim any dead end of the hair and style.
